How does the Dryer work without heat? 125 MPH jets of air from 300 nozzles on both sides of the hands blow the water off the hands. There is no heating element to burn out. No need to stand with hands under the dryer waiting for the water to slowly evaporate. How easy is it to use the Veltia dryer? Insert your hands into the drying chamber. The dryer starts automatically. Remove hands when dry. There is no moving, rotating or rubbing required. Where does the water go? Rather than blow the water from your hands onto your clothes and the restroom floor, the Veltia dryer collects the water in a tank at the bottom of the dryer, creating a safer and cleaner facility. How much noise does the dryer make? The blower motors are well insulated keeping the noise level to a comfortable 72db. How long does the dryer run at one time? The Veltia dryer automatically turns off after 15 seconds. Alternatively the hand dryer turns off as soon as hands are removed from drying area. How much does the Veltia Dryer cost to run? Yes the dryer is UL rated, meeting national and local building codes. How long will the motor last? The motor is expected to perform for 250,000 cycles (on and off). The Veltia dryer utilizes two motors reducing strain and promoting long life. How long is the warranty? 5 year warranty on parts and for one year the labor is covered for repair What is Microban? Microban is an antibacterial product injected into the plastic. It helps prevent bacterial build up. What is Gel? The Zero Smell gel is an odor neutralizer. The optional Gel pack can be inserted into the removable container inserted into the bottom of the dryer. The gel treats the majority of smell nuisances found in the restroom. How often do I empty the tank? The Veltia dryer has an audible alarm and a light that warns you if the tank should get nearly full. Under regular use it could take one, two or three weeks. Empting once a week and cleaning during regular maintenance is a good idea. How much maintenance is required?
